We had an excellent day with the staff at EVB last week, talking tech! We looked at all sorts of ways that EVB teachers are improving the learning conditions for students by using technology such as iPads, laptops, and robots in the classrooms, and by accessing Moodle in a blended learning approach,
And with 'Applied Design, Skills and Technologies' set to take a prominent role in the new curriculum, we talked about how these approaches could be expanded upon with innovations such as 3D printing and the concept of a 'Maker Cart'. Had a great day visiting Tantalus School, Carmacks, to offer support for their blended learning program.  |
