I'm just back from attending and presenting at the amazing Networks of Innovation and Indigenous Education Symposium (#noiie2019), held in Richmond, BC May 10-11th 2019. What an awe-inspiring experience! We learned so much from many passionate, engaged, student-focussed educators who came from across Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Spain. Yukon Education hosted two breakout sessions, showcasing some of the outstanding recent Inquiry projects completed by our teachers and consultants. One was themed around primary place-based learning, and the other on adaptive teaching and assessment strategies for rural students. Both group presentations received enthusiastic reviews from the audiences that packed the rooms! Check out our mini-movies (3 mins) and presentations on my 'Learning Networks and Inquiry' page!
